Under the leadership of the previous pastor, Rev. Barbara Stiles, Glynlea Grace United Methodist Church on the southside of Jacksonville, FL sought guidance from the Holy Spirit. Through this discernment process, the church came to a consensus about its mission. This mission statement is based upon the following verses:
Matthew 6:10, Matthew 25:31-46, Matthew 28: 18-20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, John 13:12-17, Philippians 2:5 and Mark 1:15. |
