 Last Sunday (29 November 2009) we had a powerful blended service! The 9AM and 11AM services were combined to create one explosive service consisting of both contemporary and traditional worship music. Brothers and sisters from both services were able to worship together. The youth lighted the first Advent candle and the children helped lead a worship song.
There was an abundance of clapping, praising and singing. The pastor spoke about the hope that came on Christmas. Everyone left with a renewed sense of hope and joy. You could sense the pressence of the Holy Spirit. Following the service was a covered dish luncheon where the congregation enjoyed some more fellowship.
We have a blended service every fifth Sunday. The next one will be January 31, 2010. Sunday School will be at 9AM and the blended service will be at 11AM. A covered dish luncheon will follow.
