| Nativity Scene - Needs your help! |

This weekend, the scouts were going to put up a nativity scene but two things were working against us. The 1st thing that didn't allow us to do this is the weather. It rained all day Saturday and we were unable to get out and do the basic activities. The second thing that was against us is the fact that we had no Nativity Scene stuff to put out. Bill Knight and Keith Shipman were unable to locate the materials, so after we set up camp we had no scene to put up. We are putting out a call for Nativity Scene parts (just the Animals and people parts and a Star of David that are life size) and if we can get these by this comming Saturday (12/19/2009) The scouts will put it up in time for Christmas in front of the church (where the pumpkin patch was set up) If not we can still take the donated Nativity Scene and store them in a safe place for next year. |
