Glynlea Grace United Methodist Chruch

I am excited to be one of the Lay Leaders for our church this year. As Lay Leader, finding a way to hire a part time Children Director and Part-time Youth Director is top priority. Until we are able to get the funds for this, we need to do all we can for our children and youth to support them and Jessica Smith and Mehgan Webb. They need our help.

Improving communication is my second priority. I ask your help in improving communication. I want to do my part, and ask all of you to do your part, to make our church the best we can. We had a good start when all the leaders got together in January over brunch. We got to know each other better, asked questions of each other, had some new insights, and overall had a good time. Please share your ideas, pitch in where you can, and above all pray for Pastor David and his family. I ask you to PRAY DAILY for our Pastor, for our paid staff, (Leslie, Margarett, Lorraine, Trisha, and Keith). Pray for our committee leaders on Staff Parish Relations, Trustee, and Finance. Pray for our Ministry team leaders: (Mission/Outreach, Spiritual Growth, and Congregational Care). Pray for the wonderful volunteers in our choir, our praise team, sound, media, nursery helpers, and Meals-on-wheels. Pray for God's leading and for our pastor and congregation to be open to receive God's calling on us as His church on this beautiful land on Pottsburg Creek. Above all pray that we will be a beacon of hope in our community, where we have the pleasure of making disciples for Jesus Christ for a transformed community around this church and the world. Think of the impact on this church if ALL OF US PRAYED DAILY for GGUMC. We have a wonderful, loving and caring church family. With God's help, there is no limit in what we and God can do together.
